I think my response may apply more to Amy than Naomi. I also have little red

dots

on my arms and some on my chest. I also have a couple on my face. These are

definitely not related to rosacea. When I first got them 15 years ago the

dermatologist said they come with aging in fair skinned people and are usually

heritary. They never go away and cause no harm. The dermatologist removed them

with a laser. Over the years I have gotten some more but have not had them

treated. My daughter, who is also fair, already has a few.

It sounds like Naomi's come and go with skin irritation and since they are only

on

the face I doubt they are the same thing.

I have those little red dots like a and Amy. They're called Cherry

Angiomas. If you want info on them, here's a link info:

http://my.webmd.ca/content/asset/adam_disease_cherry_angioma

I've had some on arms and legs since about age 10.

About the other dots that Naomi gets, could they be a rash or an

eczema breakout? When I was a teenager I would get numerous tiny

little bumps on my face if I used a product with fragrance. It would

go away in a day or two. It would go away sometimes in a few hours if

I washed the stuff off my face.

Take care,

Matija

Also getting little red bumps is part of rosacea for some. When I get

flare, red bumps appear. When the bumps go away, there is a little red mark

left behind that lasts up to a month, but then goes away. My derms calls

them " rosacea footprints " .
