Guest guest
You just got me thinking - Does anyone else have CD children in school and are taking Cooking Class? It used to be a requirement when I was in school, but when my daughter goes to school, I will be sure not to let her take cooking class.....(unless they can provide my daughter GF cookware, kitchen surfaces, etc...and we all know how well school aged children wash dishes in these classes) UGH Let me know your experience. Im curious.
Guest guest
We didnt have dishwashers in our home economics class (I was in high school 1985 - 1988) Maybe that has since changed. Hmmm, I will have to ask the kids in my neighborhood. Im curious now.
Guest guest
I have a son getting ready to go into middle school. So we aren't there yet, but I am already thinking about it. I would think that they would be required to use dishwashers for the dishes between classes (health issue). And yes, the wheat issue is a problem. But I am concerned about how many parents who talk about their children "learning" to make rice crispy bars and things like this "monkey bread". They really aren't teaching our children to cook! A box of this or a package of that??? It is no wonder that people have such problems when they have to go on a special diet (like GF, low sodium, low fat, etc.) because they NEVER learn how to actually prepare things unless it comes from a box! ItĀ appalls me. Cheryl in MNrxp_us@...
