I was part of the 4/10 litter and was lucky enough to receive one of the cute little dog-bone-shaped tags that Claire made for us. I put mine on my keychain as a reminder of the whole experience. I have gone to the gym (actually the physical therapy center I used to attend, they give great rates to " graduates " ) three times this week to work out. I've taken it slowly and it feels GREAT!!! I've munched all week on the same order of egg drop soup and chicken lo mein that I got on Tuesday, and have really enjoyed it. Otherwise I'm getting my yogurt in through smoothies (with all the other powdered stuff added hee hee) and drinking my juices/soups. I really do feel great. It's funny, but even one bite of " real " food tastes sooooooooo good that I find I don't want more, I just enjoy that first sensation. Still dealing with the Thrush. The perscription is almost finished, so I'm anxiously awaiting the white patch covering my tongue to go too! Almost two weeks post op and I'm lovin' life!
