Guest guest
Hi Pearl: The nail polish remover smell can come from ketosis which comes from not having enough carbohydrate in one's diet. Someone in ketosis can actually test for a blood alcohol level-pretty bizarre. Is she having enough carbs in her diet? Guest guest
My daughter Kali does not enough carbs and her breath frequently smells like that. A sweet nail polish remover smell. Is it important to get her to a Dr.? Re: ketosis?/breath smell > Hi Pearl: > The nail polish remover smell can come from ketosis which comes from not > having enough carbohydrate in one's diet. Guest guest
I'm not really sure, I just get paranoid because my BIL was dx'd with diabetes at age 5. It's probably unlikely that it's diabetes, most likely ketosis like you said. Mindy > My daughter Kali does not enough carbs and her breath frequently smells like > that. Guest guest
Okay, so I looked up ketosis and since it's just once in a while that I notice she smells like that I'm thinking I should give her something with a high carb count. I don't thnk we would find it if I went to the doctor since it doesn't happen on demand. I think there is a chart for the carb content that was posted before. Would someone please repost? Thank you for your comments. Pearl > My daughter Kali does not enough carbs and her breath frequently smells like > that. A sweet nail polish remover smell.
