Guest guest
Ruthie, I too tried the L-Carnitine and found it made me stall or gain...mostly gain....water weight. SO I quite taking it and VIOLA! my weight loss began again. I tossed it in the garbage. I am unsure if it was the L-Carnitine itself or fillers that may have been in it. In anycase, this id definitely a YMMV product. Some loss tons on L-carnitine others, like me, don't do well. I suggest stop taking it for a week, stay on plan and see what happens. I did this twice and got a huge difference when I was OFF it so, I concluded it was indeed the carnitine causing my stall/gain. Guest guest
We don't have many rules as far as posting your weight. In fact, our *only* rule is you're not allowed to post your weight if it's less than mine, which you just broke. ;-P Really, we don't have any rules, some of us post every day, or once a week, or just when we lose (haha!) and some of us never post it at all, so it's really whatever you feel comfortable with. Is 158 up or down for you, or the same as you've weighed for a while? (I'd hate to congratulate you, then find out it meant a gain.) Guest guest
I weighed 173 today, which is less than I weighed last Monday. My Body Mass Index is 24.4, which indicates that I am still in danger of Type II diabetes and cardiovascular disease. I'm continuing The Reversing Diet and hoping to one day lower my BMI to 20 and my total cholesterol to 100. I think that health and wellness is a more important issue than weight loss.
