Guest guest Posted April 15, 2004 Report Share Posted April 15, 2004 Hi , I don't know if this will help or not but I have always had that problem with my ears and have found that the only kind of earrings I can wear are 14k gold studs. Even then I can only wear them for a day and then have to take them out for a rest. My ears have never closed up even with the bleeding and scabbing. I don't know if yours have been open long enough that it will stay open so you can wear an earring occasionally or not. Then again if you don't want to hassle with it maybe your choice would be just not to wear an earring. Hope this helps a little. CArol > I had a second piercing done in my ears last April.
