Guest guest
, do you think it could be hormones? My thyroid is almost not working so before they adjusted my meds my hormones were all wacky (can happen from weight loss to) and I didn't feel good I was tired, worst of all was when I started forgetting things like where am I, or just before I parked myself at the DR. door, I was in a meeting and had totally passed out, woke up and the meeting was over that scared me big time. Have your DR. check your tsh, hormones that can do it. Sometimes when you are overweight and a female (not pushing out the guys just does not apply to you) you stop having a menstrual cycle well similar things happen to your hormones when you lose weight. They adjust. Sorry rambling. If I am lucky enough to meet some of you at clinic You will see I am only a ding bat some of the time.lol.. You know its true fat people are jolly. Oops my honey told me not to call myself fat, I just do not feel obese sounds any better? Do You? Trish
Guest guest
Dear Pam, Well...I am at a total loss here. I have cried most of the day b/c at this point I feel so stupid. I got the lab results back and according to my pcp they are all normal. SIGH!!!! I am happy they are fine, but I feel like crap. I know that the depression is gone...it is not that. Depression does not give you the shakes, make you dizzy and pas s out. I faxed my results to Dr R and begged him for his help. Any suggestions doc? Sorry I could not help you any. Guest guest
Dear , I am so sorry to hear you still feel like " crap " . says the same thing and since the doctors can't find anything anatomically wrong (that they haven't already removed) they assume it is all in her head and have just started her on Prozac. She went to see her counselor (after almost a year...long story, change of medical facility counselor was with etc.) who doesn't think she is depressed at all......just a typical moody teenager so who knows......I certainly hope the great Dr. R has some ideas. Guest guest
Dear Trish, Got back from Las Vegas today and loved it. I read your post that you were going to be out of town so I didn't break away from the slots long enough to try to call you at a decent hour because I didn't think you would be home anyway. We'll get together next time. Maybe you can come to Dallas/Fort Worth sometime soon. I saw your post to , if fat or obese doesn't fit the bill, try " fluffy " or " under tall " . , if you see this I want you to know that some of what you're feeling may be depression or the anti-depressant that you are on. I have had a variety of side effects from anti-depressants and they are not fun. Fatigue, night and day sweats, insomnia, sedation, nightmares, memory loss, lack of concentration and many things I can't recall. I also know that sometimes a medication can lose it's effectiveness after a couple of years of use. Dr. R has warned us about depression after surgery and maybe you are experiencing it.
