Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have a few questions and feelings that I have been going through while I am doing my research and preparation for Dr. Rutledge and was hoping I could get a little feed back from some of you. I have been reading about all the different types of surgeries and maybe some of these wouldn't pertain to the MGB anyway.... I have heard that people's tastes change and they really want healthy foods after, and then I've heard some people are absolutely starving for the first few weeks and feel they can't wait to eat what they've been missing. Some say it is a tool and you still have to diet...some say the surgery just kind of takes care of the food problems and you just have to be sure to eat nutritionally healthy items and everything will be in smaller amounts. I at this point am soooo tired all the time it is so hard to believe that I will want to move and exercise and will feel like doing things. I have always had a wt problem, so I can't even say that I know what it is like to be active and full of energy and feel good. I am so afraid that I would " Fail again " like I have so many times before. Are all these feelings and worries normal? You can email me if you would like. Thank you!
