Guest guest
I'm knew to the group - I'm 28 and was recently diagnosed with the beginning signs of rosacea (main thing is redness. Warmth especially seems to make me flush quite a bit). I've started using cea LTD, just last week, and am fairly happy with what I've seen so far. I'm also considering having laser treatment for the vessels/capillaries, and have been contacting local Physicians (in New Hampshire) to try to find one that does Photoderm. The closest I've come is one that says they do it about twice a year (they rent the machine from somewhere, but there isn't enough demand to keep it year round), and two places that say they do Pulsed laser removal of varicose veins and such, but they called it V beam or PDL (PLD?). Are these the same/similar as Photoderm, or worth trying? Thanks, Mike
Guest guest
Mike: I'd stick with the LTD and try all of the non-intrusive things before going with laser surgery. I've seen some real nightmare stories with laser surgery on the Discovery Channel. The LTD worked a little for me...I'm going to try that Noritate stuff that people claim works so well. Maybe I'm overly cautious. Good luck ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! The LTD seems to be doing a decent job of keeping the redness down for a little while after putting it on, but later in the day (if I apply LTD in the morning) I can start getting red again. Or heavy exertion, etc., will still cause some flushing. I'll give it some more time though t see how it will do before doing anything more drastic.
