Using metronidazole and sticking to it

I now and then read messages in this board about how the use of

metronidazole based products (Metros) does not help them in any way.

But you should give enough time for these products to kick in. It took me

for 4 months before I started to notice improvement in my flushing.

Why did I continue using it even if I didn't see any improvent first? Well,

is wan't doing any harm to my face and it was the only medication I had at

the time.

I'm using Elyzol 1% (Scandinavian equivalent for Metros).

So if metronidazole seems not to be working for you even after 2 months

stick to using it, maybe the improvement is just around the corner!

Wish I could have been that lucky. My Derm gave me a prescription

for Metrogel nearly 5 years ago. It never did seem to help, the

cea symptoms slowly progressed over that whole time. But I

always stayed with it since I was never sure if the cea would

have been even worse without it. I feel I'm being honest in saying

it did not seem to help. But since cea is famous for coming

and going at different times, how do we know for sure? I don't.
