Guest guest
Hi there- first I want to thank everyone for their help with my questions. Of course I have another one! My daughter seems to still be going through some die-off. THe symptoms she is having are alot of sensory issues and crabbiness. THis is two weeks after being completely SCD. We were on the intro diet for about 5 days. THen I went straight to giving her nuts b/c there is so much she can't have...banana's, eggs , etc. I'm wondering if we intro'd the nuts too fast. Also, today after 10 days, I gave her fresh mango and strawberries. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal because she has never had any bowel problems. Just alot of food sensitivities. Can someone tell me if I'm doing this right? Could all of her behavioral issues (regression) just be die-off? She isn't having any more physical symptoms (fever, throwing up, red cheeks, face peeling) Any help would be appreciated. Also, my husband (50 ) is going to start this diet as well. Should he expect to experience severe die-off? Should he start it slowly instead of doing the intro all at once? He's worried he's going to get really sick. THanks again-
Guest guest
, are you giving her nuts or nut butters or flour? If it nuts, they are hard to digest especially if her system is so new to this, I would try making a muffin with nut butter and then giving her half and then waiting a day to see if anything happens. If you feel like there isn't alot to give her in the beginning, just give her more of what she can have. I think it's way to early to give her raw fruit. It should still be peeled and seeded and cooked. Remember, what doesn't get digested feeds the bad guys and maybe she is crabby because the bad guys got a little food and want more now. I don't know for sure though. I also am 50 and went on the scd with my kids and what I felt was tired for a few days and a headache. I wasn't sick. Everyone is different though, so we can't predict what he'll feel like. Pearl vmindolovich vmindolovich@...> wrote: Hi there- first I want to thank everyone for their help with my questions. She may still be going through die off and clearing stuff out of her body. Have you tried epsom salt baths? - many find them very helpful. Scrool down at http://www.pecanbread.com/badreaction.html for instructions. > Also, my husband (50 ) is going to start this diet as well. Should > he expect to experience severe die-off? My husband felt tired and a little fluish for a day or two when he went on the diet and after that felt fabulous. Epsom salt baths would help him also.
