Hello Sunshine

Your boys are adorable.

I have noticed though, that Gabe's band is off center and way too

low into his face. Are you having issues with red spots at all with

him? Maybe you could call your ortho and address that so they can

adjust it.

I noticed that too. It looks like it's sitting asymmetrical and too

low. It looks like it's partially covering his right eye, it shouldn't

be doing that. You should have your ortho trim that up for him.

They're both so cute, I love the pic of them in the grass. Thanks for

sharing their pics with us. I always wanted to have twins, never did

though. A lot of work I'm sure.

We did have problems with Gabe's band at first with red spots but

after the adjustments it has been fine. But gradually each week it

seems to get larger and fall down lower on his forhead. His eyes are

not covered though. He is very active and that seems to be when his

band gets lose always haveing to adjust. Thank you all for taking a

look at pics and for your concerns.

Check out the files section GETTING A GOOD FIT folder. It shouldn't

sit that low.

We only worry because a bad fit can make a child's head worse. This

was the case for my son. We had 2 starbands and both twisted and

fell down over his eyes. It would come so low that it touched the

bridge of his nose when he slept. I had to adjust the band all the

time to keep it center and it never stayed there. After 5 weeks

total of the two bands it made his forehead assymetry worse. We had

other issues too such as it cut open his ear, was to tight for him

to eat, many red marks including on areas that were not prominent

and should not even be being touched by the band and more. Just be

carful and keep a close eye on it.
