Guest guest
Hi Jen, It's great to hear that Owen is adjusting so well to his band. I can't wait to see the pics of him. Keep us posted on his progress. -- In Plagiocephaly , " jennieboggess " <jennieboggess@...> wrote: > > Hi Eveyone~ > > Well, Owen got his band today and we have had it off and on most of the > day. Guest guest
Hi Jen - Your message caught my eye because my son's name is also Owen, and he got his DOC Band on April 13 (and he turned 5 months on April 16). So far he is doing well during the day, but has been a bit more wakeful at night, though that too seems to be getting a bit better. I hope your Owen is adjusting well too. Good luck! Guest guest
Thanks Bonnie~ It is quite interesting that we both have Owens who are about the same age (two days apart from what I can tell...) and both received their bands at the same time! How fun... This is Owen's first night in with his helmet, so I am keeping my fingers crossed...he isn't a great sleeper to start with! Good Luck to you and your little O-man. Keep in Touch! Guest guest
Hi ladies! How did you Owens sleep last night? My daughter is on night two of a starband... it's getting better. Here's to hoping that we all get normal sleep soon! > > > > > > Hi Eveyone~ > > > > > > Well, Owen got his band today and we have had it off and on most > > of the > > > day. Guest guest
Hi and Bonnie~ Night one of the helmet was a success! Owen went to bed at 9 and did not wake up until 4...which is about typical with him, so I was pretty happy. I hope Bonnie's Owen did well also! I am going to keep my fingers crossed that it was not a fluke. Hoping tonight goes well for all! Guest guest
Jen - I hope your Owen's first night went ok. My little guy has been sleeping in his helmet since last Thursday night, and he only just got back to his normal sleep pattern on Monday night. He still wakes up to nurse once or twice (which is another issue!), but before Monday he was waking pretty much every two hours and was hard to settle back down to sleep - it was like having a newborn all over again, but worse because he was so clearly waking up because of the helmet and being uncomfortable. I felt so badly for him, but I tried to keep reminding myself that we're doing the right thing. Owen has also been napping as he used to too. So, I'm hoping we've turned the corner . . .
