Has anyone in the Seattle area found a good photoderm practitioner? How much do

they charge? Does anyone know if there is a Yag:Nd laser (with someone

knowledgeable about rosacea) in Western Canada or Pacific Northwest USA?

Hi -- I know, it's weird that that there is no

well-known photoderm practitioner in Seattle. Go

figure! Anyway, Dr. Darm in Portland was one of the

original practitioners of photoderm and knows Dr.

Bitter very well. Dr. Darm has done photoderm on more

than 5,000 patients over the years, and he's almost

finished a research paper to put in one of the derm

professional journals. I'm thrilled with the results.

The price is not cheap, though. He charges $400 per

treatment, which includes ongoing consultation.

There's a package for five treatments for $1700. I was

determined to beat this thing and decided to scrimp

and save. I do think there's a danger in going to

someone you haven't heard of. Several members of this

group have gone to Dr. Darm -- that's how I got his

name. Anyway, good luck in making your decision. I

wish you all the best!!!
