Guest guest
Yes, you did see talk of my wish to drive to Toronto to see June, Trish. Any chance you will be there to visit your sister over the summer? Wouldn't that be cool to all meet? In one of my posts today, I was joking about the fact that I was considering moving to Toronto (to be closer to June and her pastries and chocolate boxes and Don's wine). I'm in a dental crisis at the moment. The drugs I'm taking to help my infected tooth seem to help the rest of me, so I can't complain too much. I'm feeling much better today. Don't worry about feeling behind, we'll all catch you up on the latest news in a hurry. Glad you are back! ----- Original Message ----- From: " Trish Goodvin " <tgoodvin@...> < egroups> Sent: Wednesday, April 26, 2000 8:57 PM Subject: Re: [ ] CALLING ALL CARS-TRISH RESPONDS > , > Thanks for your welcome back!!! Guest guest
, Hubby and I have talked about driving our 1972 VW bus to Toronto. We have also been told that customs do not like VW Buses and expect to be searched and delayed. I am not sure we will make it this summer though. My sister is comming here to help settle the Estate. One day I will get to Toronto!!! Trish --- Matsumura <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: > Yes, you did see talk of my wish to drive to Toronto to see June, Trish. Guest guest
I'm sure that you and your husband look like drug-smuggling, highly suspicious characters in your VW bus! I can't blame customs from wanting to stop you, Trish. Love those buses! My daughter wants to get a VW Beetle for her first car (she's already got her driving permit - YIKES!!!). I think we just might get one. That way, I can drive it when she isn't. Regardless of whether you make it to Toronto, I hope to meet you somewhere, somehow soon. Hope you are feeling good today. > , > Hubby and I have talked about driving our 1972 VW bus to Toronto. Guest guest
Trish, Sorry the drug study did not work out and you wound up in such a terrible flare. That's so disappointing and difficult. Don't worry about not being able to be here that much right now. We're happy to have you drop in whenever you have time. Feel better soon,
Guest guest
Trish, Happy to hear that you were able to spend some time with your sister and her friends. Sorry that you are still feeling the pain about not having your parents with you anymore. I hope that overall the experience was cathartic and that you will be feeling better and better. You could be depressed, or you could be just plain exhausted. You have a lot to deal with on many levels. You have had many significant changes in your life over a relatively short period of time. And that mid-life crisis phenomenon is very sneaky! I have been battling it myself. Rest and be well, ----- Original Message ----- From: " Trish Goodvin " <tgoodvin@...> < egroups> Sent: Thursday, August 03, 2000 10:37 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Flaring > Hi a, > I am sorry to hear you are flaring and that the summer has not been one of boating and camping > for you. Guest guest
Hi Trish, You sent this to me by mistake.....so I'm sending it back to the group for SUE'S answer. My 2 cents is, the lack of sleep and the spasms are not unusual occurences for MS. As for LDN, sometimes you can have insomnia with ldn...if it persists then Dr. Bahari suggests lowering the dose for awhile...1.5 for a week, and then inch up to the 3mg. I had stiffness and spasms on 4.5mg, but it eased up when I went back to 3mg. so the samemay be true for the doseage being too high. Hope this helps. Sent: Sunday, July 13, 2003 8:22 AM Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] TRISH Hi Sue Just wondered if you have any advice to give me, I took my first LDN on Friday night 3mg, did not sleep particulary well? felt kinda disturbed all night, Sat morning not to bad, head a little strange!! By Sat afternoon massive spasm in right leg. Missed it out last night just had my copaxone as usual, is this a normal ocurance after the first capsule, I had been told that copaxone and Ldn were compatible. I hope you don`t me asking you? as I do not know what to do tonight, just picked on you as you seemed to know quite a lot on LDN. I maynot be able to get in touch with Dr Lawrence straight away, I am in UK: Just needed someones advice. Thanks Loads Trish ************************************************************** This message was scanned by the Avast Anti-Virus Gateway **************************************************************
