My dr just tested me for Lupus, should know the results in a couple fo days I guess. There are so many conflicting symptoms that I don't understand how they can diagnose it. I also have ITP and RA. So so many of the symptoms for ra mask lupus. I was told even if an ana test comes back positive you can be negative for lupus, and if it comes back negative, you can still be positive for it. I was lucky enough to be diagnosed immediately. I guess I would say just take a step at a time at this point. It's helpful when you have a diagnosis, at least the doctors can figure out how to try and help you. Hopefully you won't have lupus, in either case I just hope it is mild, whatever it is and that you won't have to change your lifestyle to much.
