Guest guest
, you will be a winner in a month or two and we in SE Texas will be frying, baking, and steaming in the Texas heat ! I grew up in Minnesota. If I had money I would live six months in Minnesota and six months in SE Texas. I love both areas but not the " extremes " - 20 below zero in Jan (Minn), and 100 above in June, July, Aug, and Sept (SE Texas). My friend Raynaud does not like the 20 below and my friend Lupus does not like the 100 degree, summer sun. Somewhere there has to be big money for Weather Challenged Lupies, in two different locations, featuring all the best in medical help, food, entertainment, transportation, and anything else we might need --- or want. Am I dreaming? Yes. But ain't it a wunnerful thought ? Happy Easter. Lots of love, C.
Guest guest
Hi C, Just wanted to say Hi to a fellow (transplanted ) Texan........I live in Arlington .........between Dallas and Ft.Worth.......I agree about the Texas summers.........it can be miserable. I can take the cold much better than the heat. I was born and raised in California.......but have been transplanted since I was 16 yrs. old, so I consider myself a Texan. I keep hoping someone will join the group who lives near me. .........Your getting closer.......where do you live? S.E. Texas covers a lot of territory....... C. From: MEClifton@...
