Thanks for the info Mike,

We have been using the current " recipe " for eggnog with 70.5 g cream (fat),

21.2g eggbeaters (protein/scant carb) and 3.0 g applesauce (carb) and have had

no trouble so far (4:1 ratio). I know each child is different though, but so

far I have been able to trust my dietician...thank God. I don't know what I

would do if I had to figure this all out myself. I give a ton of credit to all

the parents that have to do it!

I just found the response that I got back when I asked the question about

Egg Beaters:

Eggs have fat in the yolk part... + protein in the white... and Eggbeaters

are just the whites.. so they aren't interchangeable. You need another

recipe made with eggbeaters

This is an eggnog meal with eggbeaters

56 gm 36% cream

35 gm Eggbeaters

10 gm canola oil

As far as I know, it substitutes equally. I get it in the dairy section

right next to the regular eggs.

Dear

Does it substitute equally for eggs? I am not familiar with it, but need to

be.

Thanks for telling me about it. .

Hi -

We use Eggbeaters brand egg product-recommended by our dietician. It is

pasteurized so it's ok to consume raw. gets an eggnog as his bedtime

meal/snack and he really likes it. I also add a few drops of liquid

sweet-n-low and vanilla or chocolate flavoring.

Hi

Could anyone share what they know about keto eggnogs? I know

sometimes they are used in illnesses and sometimes for travel. I

would like to use them for travel, if need be.

It is my understanding that raw egg is no longer considered safe.

Are these made with raw eggs?

Thanks for your help. I have not yet tried them for .
