Guest guest
Hello. No one has responded to any of my emails so I don't even know if they are being delivered here. I do not see them and I have become a member. I have been wondering if you can use powdered goat's milk to make yoghurt?

Guest guest
Hi. Thank you for the response. I didn't know if I was getting out there or not. Does the goat yogurt have a nice thick consistency already or should I add a small amount of unflavored gelatin? Guest guest
The yogurt is not very thick at all, but I don't know about the gelatin. I know that you can drip it to make it thicker. You can ask the experts like Shelia or Jody about the gelatin. Good Luck, Regina jenn kjhi help4kali@...> wrote: Hi. Thank you for the response. I didn't know if I was getting out there or not. Guest guest
Hi Jenn, > Hi. Thank you for the response. I didn't know if I was getting out there or not. Does the goat yogurt have a nice thick consistency already or should I add a small amount of unflavored gelatin? Goat yogurt is thinner than cow milk yogurt. Some people drip the yogurt (which removes some of the water of hydrolysis etc.). Depending on how long you drip it it can go from a yogurt consistency to a cream cheese consistency. Instructions on how to at http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/beginners_guide/yoghurt/drippin g_yoghurt.htm Or you can add a little (warm) gelatin mixture after it has fermented for 24 hours.
