I find that BMI is a better, more comparable and meaningful

indicator than weight or weight loss.

I also find that all the different ideas in a club like this are

confusing. I would prefer to talk to one or two email buddies and

to establish a history and a method of solving the problem, rather

than to take the shotgun approach involved in sifting through all

the posts in a large club like this one. I have my own program that

works for me and I would like to continue doing what works for me.

If anyone is interested in achieving a BMI of 24.4, please reply to

this message or contact me off line. It would help me to help

someone else.

I was wondering about this myself, since I thought the way you calculated

BMI was in direct relation to your weight and height? I didn't know there

was an instrument to measure it, or measure it more accurately.

HI Ron....

I gotta say something here....I think BMI is not something you can judge

unless you are using an instrument. The only other way I know to figure

my BMI is the weight vs height ratio. So yes the BMI is related to

weight and weight should be the factor. And I do understand that muscle

is a factor in the BMI but unless you are using a instrument like I said

then that will work for you. But I don't think many of us have that

available.

Great that you have a plan that works for you but what if....your plan

might work for someone else too?? By being a member and posting here

could help a few others. And you can still have your other email people.

Just a thought.
