I made this the other night and it was tasty and easy. I served it with grilled pork chops - and had it the next day for lunch with some leftover chicken. It was even better the second day. 1/4 C orange juice 1/4 cup rice vinegar 1/2 small shallot, minced coarse-grained salt 1 Tablespoon Asian sesame oil 1 Tablespoon grated fresh ginger 1 teaspoon double strength dry mustard (like 's) 1 10-ounce bag broccoli slaw In a large salad bowl, combine o.j., vinegar, shallot and salt to taste, Let stand for 10 minutes or all day. The longer the shallot sits, the deeper the favor will be. Stir in the sesame oil, ginger, and mustard. Taste and adjust seasonings. Add broccoli slaw and toss until well coated. Next time I will use slightly less mustard to

decrease the "heat'. Enjoy - Kerri

This is the recipe I use (from Cooking Thin on Food Ntwk) & we love it -- even the kiddos!

So nice to not have to cook when it's so hot!

Broccoli Slaw

1 Tablespoon grated fresh ginger

1 teaspoon double strength dry mustard (like 's)

1 10-ounce bag broccoli slaw

In a large salad bowl, combine o.j., vinegar, shallot and salt to taste, Let stand for 10 minutes or all day. The longer the shallot sits, the deeper the favor will be. Stir in the sesame oil, ginger, and mustard. Taste and adjust seasonings. Add broccoli slaw and toss until well coated.

Next time I will use slightly less mustard to decrease the "heat'.
