Guest guest
Me too! Me too! I'm so glad you guys are posting about " weak legs " because it describes me to a T! I've had problems with my legs and hips for a long time, and mine is worse on my right side. Yea! Hips have been mentioned! I have tons of probs with my right (in particular) hip. The docs I've seen have all said the legs and hip problems are the main reason they don't think it's chiari. It's also the main reason they think my problems are conversion (mental)-they're most certainly not! I was the one who posted on getting in with Milhorat, and thank you to everyone who responded. I'm still reading over the ones I received. I'm planning to go see him. I have two questions for those who feel well enough and interested: 1) does anyone experience sudden nausea and vomiting when laying down? It's a dizziness/vertigo/bp? issue. Only happens once and awhile (happenned today). 2) anyone with low back pain that they feel is chiari related? I've had a " bad back " for as long as I can remember, childhood included. I have the pain in the shoulder blades someone just posted about. Feels like I want someone to just " crack " my back. But I also have low back and (as was just mentioned) hip problems. I've always identified the source of pain as my back. Now that I have more chiari symptoms, with neck and head pain, I'm wondering if the back pain was chiari all along? I had a head trauma as a young child in which I went unconscious. I believe that's where my pain started, though I've never gotten a doctor to believe this. I know from this group that trauma is the leading cause of onset of symptoms. Maybe I would have believed that I was crazy if I didn't didn't know better, so I really appreciate this group and WACMA. Gotta go, and I'm sorry this is so long. Jen
