Val's not close-minded, she's > just well educated on the subject. > > Peace, > juli Im not amazed at the anger and name calling i have got on my posts. Look at yourself and your objectivly. Cant you see the strong emotions and your overreation? If my theory was total nonsense i would get all these very heated and emotional responses. It actually proves my theory has validity considering all the angry reations. For someone to be told that they need to put effort in and change ones mental outlook is sometimes overwhelming. I DO think its easier and more rational for a person who doesnt put weight in one theory or another and tries to figure out the cause of this. I have done this over the years and found my theory to be very correct. They have done no scientific study related to rosacea ( because its hard to make money off of a non pill lifestyle and mental change) except the overreaction of the sympathetic nervous system which is caused by your mental procesess. You can close your eyes and listen to here-say from somewhat troubled minds calling me names on this board but if you want the truth 'it sometimes hurts'. the fact is though you can change yourself if you want to. I did it myself and also helped a co worker of mine who had what her dermatologist called " rosacea " . 3 years now and her skin looks amazing. Look on the frequent blushing support board and youll see most if not all have got better from mental relief,(are the kidding themselves?) I think not. I have researched this as much as one could so im not ignorant just a truth teller
Guest guest
I think Andy is ok with is position. Read the following (sorry for the length, but the point needs to be clearly stated -- it would only fill one page of a book, so it really is not excessively long)... I refer again to Edgar Cayce and his 25,000 or so healing readings that he did. The aspects of mental state for healing, the karmic causes and reincarnation are covered in this book: " Many Mansions. " It was written in 1950 by Cerminara, Ph.D. (in psychology), after studying Edgar Cayce's readings for a two year period. Cayce began giving clairvoyant medical diagnoses as early as 1901, but it was not until 1923 that reincarnation appears in his transcripts. A man had asked Cayce to be given an astrological chart interpretation, the first time such a request had been given to Cayce, and Cayce mentioned from his unconscious state that more important than the planetary influences were the drives, talents and abilities which came to the man from his previous lives, the last of which happened to be as a monk. Following this reading, Cayce began to do many " life readings, " and in each of these Edgar Cayce described some details of previous incarnations on earth, apparently picking out those that were the most influential in the present situation of the subject. He frequently gave names, dates and places, as well as characteristic urges of talents, weaknesses, and abilities, and sometimes physical and psychological problems arising as a result of memory carried over at a deep unconscious level from these previous lives. Cayce's repeated use of phrases like " you meet yourself, " and " you reap what you sow, " clearly show that there are strong influences in present life conditions that may be a result of events, guilt, selfishness and other things carried over to a present lifetime. One example is the case of a 34 year-old electrician who had various ills that the doctors said was multiple sclerosis. He no longer could work, and his eyesight declined to where he could not read. In his physical reading (no past-life reading was done), Cayce explained that the condition was a karmic one, but urged not to lose hope. The reading began: " Yes, we have the body here. As we find, conditions here are very serious, but do not lose hope, for help is nigh if you will but accept it. " Following this there are three pages of detailed and forceful explanations of the pathological conditions, using medical terms (Cayce never had any medical training and many terms were utterly unknown to him in the waking state), an essay on the recuperative energies within the body, then a reference to the fact that man's situation is karmic, followed by a an exhortation for the man to change his mental outlook and eliminate all hatred and malice from his consciousness. The reading closed with prescription for treatment. Roughly a year later this man wrote to Cayce again, asking for another reading, reporting that he had followed the prescription of the first reading religiously, and had experienced an improvement for about four months, followed by a relapse and decline in vitality. He had apparently applied the material side of the prescription without paying much attention to the spiritual side of the first reading, as seen in the second reading: " Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before. As we find, there have been physical improvements in the body, yet there is much to be desired. " As already indicated, this is a karmic condition and there must be measures taken by the entity to change its attitude toward things, conditions, and its fellow man. So long as mechanical things were applied for physical correction, improvements were seen. " But when the entity becomes so self-satisfied, so self-centered, as to refuse spiritual things, and does not change its attitude; so long as there is hate, malice, injustice, jealousy; so long as there is anything within at variance with patience, kindness, gentleness, there cannot be a healing of the conditions of the body. (Forcefully) " What does the entity want to be healed *for* ? That it may gratify its own physical appetites? That it may add to its own selfishness? Then, if so, it had better remain as it is [with the illness]. " If there is a change in mind and purpose, and if the entity expresses the changes in speech and action, and if there is the application of those material things suggested, we will see improvements. " But first there must be the change of heart, of mind, of purpose, of intent... All of the mechanical appliances that you can muster will not bring about complete recovery *unless* your purpose and your soul have been baptized with the Holy Spirit. Will you accept, or will you reject? It is up to you. We are through -- unless you make amends. We are through with this reading. " The source of Cayce's information asks " what do you want to be healed for? " The message is clear: if it is for selfish gratification in the present lifetime, then forget it. So from this we see that a karmic debt from a past lifetime does not necessarily present the victim with a hopeless disease, for example, for which no possible recovery is possible. Karma is not a system of punishment but is a process of balancing, and the sooner you correct the imbalance, the sooner you will recover from the condition imposed. This is the central message, or theme, of this topic. I regret that some may find this viewpoint disturbing. That is to be expected. I am merely passing on information long ago recorded, a message that is ageless. ---> Buddha said " All that you are is the result of what you have thought. " Respectfully, Ray Weisling
