I do know Pediasure is GF but I am not sure if it is CF. You could ask the company I found them to be very accomodating when I had my daughter on their products.

According to the label, its

not CF. I just wondered if the GF/CF people in our group, knew of an GF/CF alternative.

I do know there are GF/CF nutritional supplements for kids, but I

think most of them are by prescription, as they tend to be for

extremely specialized needs. Do you work with a dietician who might

advise you?

My son is on supplements geared toward autism and they are GF/CF. They are by

kirkman labs and I just ordered my daughter a daily supplement that is also

GF/CF from them. I have shown each one to their pediatricians and they okayed

our use of them. My son has been on his supplements for a year and his

behaviors and changed drastically. We also avoid food dyes, sugars and soon, he

will GF as well. If he has food coloring, his behavior changes are noticable.

I am

asking on behalf of my Nephew. After having some growth and temper issues, I

convinced my SIL to test him and eventually put him on a GF/CF diet. He had a

negative biopsy.....weak positive blood (IGA and IGG)....positive gluten and

casein sensitivity from Entrolabs. After making the diet change, he has gained

some weight, his temper issues are so much better, and for the first time in

his life he is finally having solid stools. My SIL says he’s constantly hungry

and eats non-stop all day now. I think his body is just trying to catch-up.

Maureen, I few days ago you had written about giving your Son Pediasure, and

how much it helped with his growth after going GF. I thought maybe my Nephew

could benefit, the same way your son has.....but unfortunately, it’s not

CF.

Thanks for the response....

Jill
