Guest guest
Hi , After much discussion between Hannah's ped, nutritionist, geneticist, dietician, and nurologist, we went ahead and got her the shot. My husband and I had never gotten the shot either, so we were very apprehensive. But, in May, Hannah did have the flu and was hospitalized due to the increased seizure activity. She had her first shot in September and will have her second in November. All went well so far. Hope this helps, Mommy to Hannah 9 months today! Flu Shot? Is anyone giving there kids/babies the flu shot. I am not sure, I have never had it and neither has my kids, but they are saying a horrible winter. Just some opinions? Guest guest
, I have always gotten the shot and after Wyaema started with the seizures and developmental delay, my kids get it too. Her doctor calls me as soon as he gets it every season to make sure she gets it asap. Her neuro even said to make sure she gets it. With her neuro probelms it is very important, a little peice of the flu can turn into a major sickness and hospital stay, if we arent careful. So i would definetly get it. Just my opinion Kristi mom to Wyaema, 2 today, keto kid March 2003 to January 2004 Kristi Mann Smile make everyone wonder what your thinking May God Bless you today, tomorrow and always
Guest guest
Hi - My son had a horrible reaction to the flu shot - increased seizures for one week following the first shot. We opted NOT to give the second shot because of this. (mom to ) --- nicolemc1120@...> wrote: > > Is anyone giving there kids/babies the flu shot. Guest guest
Savanna's never had a reaction or increased seizures to the flu shot. She gotten it for the last 6 years, although the first year she didn't have to get 2 shots but last year they asked about giving her a second(decided not to as she had gotten only one in the past) Biggest problem this year is the flu clinics have all been cancelled here.
