Guest guest
In Uk our parents are getting either the MCT oil or liquigen. As liquigen is an 'emulsion' it is mixed with water. So if your prescription for a meal is 50mls then in fact you are only getting 25mls of the actual MCT part. If you use the MCT oil (again on prescription and made by SHS) then this is usually calculated at 99% MCT. If you use the KTC coconut oil which is 100% pure coconut oil - this is calculated at 93% MCT part. Hope this has been helpful. Take Care Emma. Mum to - med free, doing great and putting plastic blocks into the cooker - they make a lot of smoke by the way!
