Guest guest
Hi Claire only has 225mg Trileptal at night and it stopped the seizures she was having during sleep. When we gave her the same dose during the daytime she had head nods all day long! Dosing just at night has worked for Claire and she is now 11 weeks seizure free and making great strides in development. She is now going to bed later and rising earlier than she was before Trileptal but I put that down to her not needing so much sleep, since what she is getting now is restful sleep. Before Trileptal she was having gen seizures all night long! Good luck Jill At 07:41 AM 19/08/2004, you wrote: >Hello all. Guest guest
I am not sure about Trileptal but I know that when was on depakote it made him extremely ketotic. So much that we had to be on the 2:1 ratio and he still had high ketones. As far as the sleep, I would look up the side effects of Trileptal and see if it is a possible side effect. Good luck
