Hi Jenn, where in Canada are you? I am in , BC. How is the

diet working for your child? Are you guys seizure free? Do you have

a good keto team? We have often thought of going out of province

sometimes.

Keto kid since August 2003, and currently weaning

prescrip site? No idea how those work as I am in canada and very

thankfully I can get it covered here (same strength you are using -

and it is about $238 for one month's supply) Hope you can find the

info you are looking for. This made a great difference for my son and

we see seizures return if we miss it.

We're on the praries :) The diet is working very good for . He is not

totally seizure free but I suspect that the break thru seizures he had (two in

one morning but that was it for the last 8 days) was due to a food we gave him.

Challenging again today (not that I wanted to but huby gave it to him without

thinking :( bah!) Oh well at least this way we will know and there is no school

tomorrow to miss if he has a bad nite :) I dont know that we actually have a

'keto team' we have a neuro and a dietician - both of which I dont have much

contact with. We see the neuro every 6 months or so and the dietician I usually

email when I have a question but for the most part I am on my own with the diet

(and I like it that way) If you plan on traveling this way, let me know. Would

be great to meet other parents of children with epilepsy, esp those on (or who

have been on) the diet.

Jenn mom to Mike - keto kid for 3 years, almost seizure free and almost med free

(just a little clonaz hanging on)

Hi Jenn, that's great you are having great results with the diet for

your son. How old is ? We are currently weaning my daughter

from the diet as we have done every fine tuning we can think of. She

has good and bad days on the diet. But, if we find she was better

off on the diet, then we will put her back on it. I will definitely

look you up if we ever come out your way.

Hope things are better now with .
