We are not completely weaned but we went from 900 to 600 to 300 mg now without any issues. And during this he has had a nasty bacteria growing in his stomach. Actually now that I think of it, his seizures have decreased since we lowered the felbatol AND he is much happier and less irritable. Wish your friend luck.
