We got the STARscan yesterday and it turns out, his condition is

more severe than we thought. He is +2 SD for the cephallic

measurements and our cranio specialist feels the helmet could really

help him. After A LOT of thought, my husband and I have made the

decision to go forward and get the helmet. He is 7 months old and we

were told that there would be only a slight modification if we do

nothing, but a greater change with the helmet. We hate the idea of

putting him in the STARband, but realize it is probably for the best

and will bother us more than him.

What is your experience?
