salicylic acid and seb derm

A while ago I posted sucess with salyclic acid.

It has been 3-4 weeks and my skin is doing better than it has

in a long time. I have even been getting complements on how good my

skin looks.

I have mild rosacea and seb derm. My skin previously was super

sensitive. I believe that the chronic

seb derm caused the irritation as well as the use of retin-a

products and AHA's etc.

Salicylic acid deep cleans the pores of sebum and exfoliates. I

finally can put on base without flakes.

My routine is:

paula's choice normal to dry cleanser

paula's choice 1% BHA (contains salicylic acid)

le Netelle's moisturizer for normal to dry skin

(also contains salicylic acid and chamomile)

I use that a's Choice 1% BHA also. Isn't that a nice formula?

Very gentle. I just tried her oil absorbing mask for the first time

this evening. Her products seem to agree with my skin. Just wanted

to throw in my .02 worth I guess......

That is just wonderful. I don't use antibiotics or any topical meds

myself. For some of us, they don't work at all or lose their

usefulness after awhile.
