I DO HOPE this " Thank God it's Friday Day " finds all you folks are

doing well~ and are getting better for those who weren't.~

RACHEL C..I hope is doing better. I sent a wee box to her. let me

know if it gets to her. I have had boxes returned as patients have gone

home, I wish they would just forward them.,Anyway. Prayers for her being

much better on their way.

KIM Rankin.. I am so glad you have joined the list. I would love to have

your folks join too. They would be able to see that there are many, many

older folks here too. it is very encouraging. You asked if I would talk

to them.YES,YES. I will anyone. has anyone ever seen me turn down

talking to someone.haha .They are welcome to come in to see me too.I

love that. I had visitors today from Ft Lauderdale.Cheryl and hubby

with little JAKE who is down getting sooo big.Doesn't look like the wee

guy in the Nov-Dec2000 issue of INFORMER . Gosh, they do grow fast:)

TERRI.. I am glad is doing as well as he is. Knowing that the

liver function

is doing well, is allot of STRESS removal for you, I know. It was great

to see that your mini bear pattern was chosen to be published.Gosh, we

have all kinds of celebs here on this list !! Congrats to you on that !

! I hold you all in my prayers for continued good news.

MIKE S.. congrats again on your 20th birthday. That is a milestone.also

was not happy to hear you had been in the Club for 4 weeks. that is a

long time.Are you sure you didn't have a crush on the RN?? -Just

kidding.I know it had to be scary for you .sorry to hear that BUT, am

glad that is history now.Keep trying with the Ss, 4th times the charm.

they feel they have to reject at least 3 times.best wishes on this time.

I am praying for you ........(I am glad your with your aunt now. take

care of yourself.Love YA!! )

JILL. you are having a " GREAT " time with your son at college, I can

tell. I am very glad he is that far though , I think maybe you would

have wrung his neck -hahaah Just kidding. I know it is maybe a reminder

of the " good ole days " when you did some fun-nutty things too. I am

glad you do look back & see that. So many folks forget when they were

" silly/funny/dumb/ younguns " Your such a good mommy. Please know that

YOU DO ENJOY wee HOUR AM CALLS...hahaha, at least you do know where your

kids are ???? hahaheheThe concerts really sounded super. Tom's did

too. You all get to go to such great ones. that is wonderful.enjoy while

you can..

HEIDI L..Sounds like Janet is on her way out of whatever she was in

that caused her problems.Glad to hear that. as you were too! she sounds

like she is going to eat you out of house & home.BUT THAT IS GREAT, just

as you said. back to her old self!

I sure hope you want have any more snow and SPRING will have sprung

soon.

RITA..Bless you sweet gal. I am glad your at a different hospital Kathy

says you were doing o.k. I am glad others can get to see you. I will be

in town there this next Fri, but just for the weekend. I will be working

but know I bring prayers for you with me. Give Sammie a hug when she

visits . Your wonderful mom Lana has sure been a fantastic mom, I know I

don't have to tell you that. give her a hug for me too.

FERNANDA Z.. It is nice to see family members take part in the loving

and care of their nieces & nephews. You are great to be involved. Regan

sounds like she will do very well with you all surrounded her with such

love. best wishes and I will look forward to your posts.(I did answer

privately about the maintained use of pulmozyme too. yes, that is why my

granddaughter use it !!

MEG..MOLLS.. nice to hear that the weather is better there now. Is that

near ALBANY?? I will be there next weekend and was wondering what to

expect.of course, I wont be out of hotel , except to & from airport so,

anyway. Is the snow still there??It sounds like you have had your hands

full with your wee ones this past week or so. I do hope all has started

to settle down now. I will keep you all in my prayers.

AGNES. M....I AM WISHING ALEX HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN.I am so sorry I

didn't know.You all will have a great time for him anyway, but I want

him to know he is very much loved and respected.Such a fine young man

(even if he is a teenager) -:) We wont hold that against him . haha

Now I do hope that Bob isn't putting in all those hours now -unless-he

is getting double time $$$$$.:) YOU-take care of you!!!-that's an

order from the ole gal here!!

KATHY P.. your posts with the jokes, tests , etc have been great. Where

do you get them all .I try very hard to do them , but sometimes get so

loaded down , cant get to all of them. Your great to keep the smiles on

our faces. forever the caring nurse ....you are!! thanks.

MARCI-gosh, DX at the age of 20.that must have been a shock. And now 27

and expecting your baby. I wish & pray for you all the best for you and

your precious wee one.There are quite a few who have cf and who have had

babies so I know you will from them. enjoy. love 7 prays on their way.

KALEN Y.. glad you got testing approved and scheduled. Also , the

caffeine really does work. we have suggested that with several in lower

school instead of the Ritalin

I am so glad it is working out . You deserve this break .:)The T-Ball

sounds like a real hoot!! I loved watching the kids at that stage too.

have fun with it . Your a great mommy to do this so they all have it as

well.take care!!

JENNIFER D.gosh , that sounds absolutely fantastic.2 DEVINE-Center for

Self Esteem!!! I love the name .It makes you want to call and join in

:):)You are a very clever business woman , it seems.The wig idea is

such a great comfort to so many. we /I was involved in a group that

collected form folks and a gal at a local (well known & respected) would

take them , wash, sterilize, cut & set so we could distribute at the

cancer centers and thru our cancer society local chapter. It was such a

blessing . Gosh, your great to do this ! ! !have a great weekend!

JEAN C...I am so glad your doing well now. You are such a great support

person , to more folks than you know. That must have really been a fun

-hard working -but still fun----weekend at your mom's. It is always nice

when family does projects together.. I do hope you continue to be here ,

even in Lurkdom. We love you ,have a great weekend & weeks ahead.

MELINDA P.. you mentioned problems getting , etc posts for a bit. I

think we all have done that lately .I guess there are so many on so many

lists the air is overwhelmed :):)Good news about 's soccer team.

He will; love it I am sure. there has to be good with all that running

and exercise. Good for you. I also was happy to hear your sister is

doing well. some folks are just not " talkative about their Cf and

treatments. maybe she is more compliant then you all realize., I still

hold you all in my prayers. she and will do well.JENNIFER it was

great to see your post that Aston has gained some weight that seems to

be a gold metal award from the

clinics when we come away with that!! good luck & best wishes it

continues .as you said, the g-tube made the difference ..And easier

............have a great weekend with your fatty Asthon-haahehe:)

APRIL H. it is really a nice thing to see you posting again. I am glad

all is well. I also am very happy and proud that both you and have

gone back to finish school Such fine folks as you two , will make it

fine. That will also help get better jobs and he deserves that.

Now please let us know what all is going on in your wonderful new life

with all that easy breathing air:):) OH, I almost forgot.. Change your

IV hours to fit your schedule as much as possible. if you feel better ,

call the doc and tell them. It is sure better than missing any. I know

others have posted you as well.

CHERYL C.. CONGRATS on your new MATTHEW . it is not easy to be told your

precious baby has CF .but, your very wise doctor told you right...that

was a very caring kind smart doc..where do you go to clinic?. We need to

let all know about these great docs as we do about the " dips " . If you

would like lots of " stuff " on CF ....positive and the truth about CF ,

send me your mailing address, I will be happy to send to you , even

tapes. There is no charge.I have a granddaughter with CF .she is almost

18 and doing great, super athlete and honor student , packing to go away

to college in August.has 2 other sisters-younger too. oh, she has never

had IV's or been in hospital either.--except at birth -she had blockage

(mecomiun iliues).Was 2 days old so I doubt she remembers -haha.take

care and stay tuned. there are several lists ALL are great. You learn

something different from each one.

I know there are many that I have not included here ...but I have

answered or written to many separately. you all are so dear. I had to

laugh I have received the bear hug poem so many times yesterday and

today. it had me smiling where everyone here at work asked me about it.

it is really cute and I do that you all. your very special people. ALL
