Guest guest
Greetings all, who gives the DX or motor apraxia? motor planning etc? Is it a doctor or could it be the SLP? My son is 28 months old w/ a significant expressive language delay. His receptive appears much higher than his expressive. However, if he is asked to label objects/flash cards he gets a large amount correct - However, he will not label those items outside of labeling them through " asking him what is this " or pointing to a flashcard etc. All in all - if he used the words he knows through labeling and prompting he would be talking MUCH better - but somehow the words don't come out on his own. He is also very squeally, hummy and screams alots. He has an ABA home program, and 1 hour of speech and OT a week Hazel
