I know sometimes they are used in illnesses and sometimes for travel. I would like to use them for travel, if need be. It is my understanding that raw egg is no longer considered safe. Are these made with raw eggs? Thanks for your help. I have not yet tried them for . , 's mumma " The Ketogenic Diet....a realistic treatment option, NOT just a last resort! Guest guest
Lily's breakfast is basically egg nog. I use most of the eggs for a sort of scrambled egg to put her meds in and give her something semi solid and the rest goes into a drink. She's on 875 calories, 3.5:1 55 gr. heavy cream 42 gr. egg substitute (not raw egg bec. of salmonella) 10 gr. oil 5 gr. butter. dash nutmeg 3-5 drops vanilla liquid sweetner to taste I put about 20 gr. egg and 5 gr. cream with 5 gr butter in a remekin and microwave it for 22 seconds. That's the scrambled egg. The rest goes together in her bottle. If I'm not giving her meds in the eggs or just want to give her a bottle it all goes together, except the butter, of course. I just up the oil a bit. I also add a bit of water to it to help her fluids. The egg nog she first started on was 100 gr cream and 50 gr egg. Very high calorie. You can run the Stanford planner and tweak it for her calorie/ratio, or let me know what it is and I'll be happy to do it for you. It is easy for travel, and she loves it. It actually tastes pretty good, believe it or not. Caitlin > > Hi > > Could anyone share what they know about keto eggnogs? I know > sometimes they are used in illnesses and sometimes for travel.
