After my long search for the best ipl practitioner in the Toronto

area, i've decided on Image Sculpting. I have my first appointment

booked with the doctor on April 20.

I would like some advice on what to do during photoderm. What

topicals, orals, etc. should be used to combine with the photoderm

for the best results. AT the present time i am taking clonodine to

fight the blushing, altered my diet, increased water, taking ester c,

grape seed, flaxseed, and borage. Topically i am using rosacea ltd -

but will discontinue before and during photoderm, and i am using

untinted zinco.

Is there a soothing cream to use for flushing during photoderm? I

think i read somewhere that i should not use the ltd disks during this

time.

Should topical niacin be used before photoderm? If so, where do you

buy this?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Don't take clonidine for about 24 hours prior to tx. Wash your face

and shave VERY CLOSELY immediately before the tx. Don't put anything

on your face for the first couple of tx's, just let them zap you.

Later in the game you can address topical niacine if need be.

Definitely continue the Ester C and GSE during tx series.
