Guest guest
Thanks for the responses regarding 'my son refuses to take fish oils.' I'm very interested in trying the Coromega that someone suggested (since it sounds like this doesn't have the fishy taste at all). Would anyone know the equivalant of the Coromega with what I was giving my son would be -- which was 6 EFA (the 3-6-9)Nordic Naturals and 3 of the NN's EPA's. And, is the Coromega just as good as the NN? Will I get the same results? I'm always so confused by the fish oils and the doseage...and just when I found the perfect doseage and saw such great results--he stops taking them. Someone mentioned that the Coromega is Omega 3 and I would have to add the Omega 6 -- any Omega 6 or is there a particular one? And, how much of that would I give him? Is the Coromega the same thing as the NN fish oils? It's so frustrating because I know what will help him (the fish oils) but recently getting him to take them is another matter. Thanks again for any help anyone can provide! --
Guest guest
We are using EyeQ smoothies (which are also a form of emulsified oil, looks like yogurt and comes in little sachets). My daughter and a friend of hers both take it and do not complain at all about the taste, it has a fruity taste, not fishy (I have tried droplets that end up on my fingers after squishing out the smoothie.) We use Eye Q instead of Coromega because they offer a similar ProEfa/ProEpa ratio. We do have to order it from the UK though... The company is Equazen. Best of luck.
