Guest guest
I agree completely! I worked in restaurant and restaurant management for over 12 years. It is difficult to stop the flow. If we were busy, I was fine but is something interrupted that, I would mess up. We haven't tried eating out with our daughter yet. She doesn't even want to. She is too afraid of getting sick. I have other disabilities though and don't do steps well due to my musle disease-there was a point that I couldn't do them at all. My husband's work has booked two Christmas partied in the past 8 years that we held in an upstairs dining room with no elevator. I didn't have a choice. The buildings were so old that they didn't have to comply with the 'new' handicap laws. It took me a good 10 minutes to get up the steps. One of them, the food was on the first level so my husband got me a plate. I can't tell you how many times I needed to use a bathroom that was on another level or that didn't have rails in the stalls. I had to figure out how to make due. It is tough to deal with when you can't get what you want. I do sympathize with that. Guest guest
Thanks! That cleared that up! We are only eliminating dairy until our intestines heal.......hopefully we will all be able to go back to dairy eventually. > > Zanna casein = milk protein lactose = milk sugar usually problems with a protein are an allergy (not always) and lactose intolerance is a problem breaking down the sugar. lactase - the enzyme that helps digest the sugar - is produced in the tips of the villi, so if you lose the tips - i.e. celiac consuming gluten - you often lose the ability make lactase and digest lactose.
