Guest guest
We've been patients of Dr. for 13 years. CHLA is part of USC . We do the diet through the dietician staff @ Children's. Tracey

Guest guest
Dr. is very supportive of the ketogenic diet. It may take awhile for you to get Maddux in as the keto dietician is currently on maternity leave. We did not have a hospitalization this time around...as it is our third time on the diet. Also, Skyler had already undergone very comprehensive metabolic testing to ensure the diet wasn't contraindicated. Have you made an appt. w/the neuro-opthamologist there? We saw Mark Borchert and really liked him. (If Maddux has something metabolic/genetic going on...keep in mind she might not be keto material). I adore Dr. ...we travel from San Diego to see her...have for nearly 14 years! Tracey

Guest guest
Good luck w/Borchert. I'm sure you will like him. He and Dr. work very well together and I'm sure whatever he does will be to 'rule out' other causes of Maddux' seizures. If you talk to Dr. on Monday...do tell her we've 'met.'
