Guest guest
Thanks. That green stuff is grass but it's not in good shape right now(LOL) The Manchester terrier is the progenitor of the Doberman pincher. It is a very old breed of dog from England. Hundreds of years ago they were called the black and tan terrier. They are house dogs. They kept them in large houses and mansions to kill the vermin. About 100 years ago they started to put them it pits and make bets as to who could kill the most rats the fastest. They let loose the rats and timed the dogs. Not long ago (in dog speak) a guy named Doberman came to England and took some to Germany and starting breeding them with other dogs. Pincher means terrier in German. The Manchester is the only dog breed that has been bred up. All other breeds were bred down, including the Manchester. You can get a toy Manchester who is born with stand up ears shaped like candle flames! They are about the size of a Chiwawa. My dog weighs about 22lbs. He is about 22" high at the shoulders. -- Cheryl What a pretty dog! I don't think I've seen one like him before. He looks like a small pincher kind of . At least his colors. And I see he is standing in some of that green stuff! ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
