OMG you sound like I me!!! I use to eat out all the time and that

was my number one mistake. First off, I think it would help you

tremendously if you would take your lunch to work instead of eating

fast food. If that is not possible try buying the Grilled Chicken

Sandwiches or the salads. Second, make your changes gradually...it

is hard to make lifestyle changes that last if you change everything

at once. Maybe when you eat out on the weekend try drinking iced

tea, water or diet soda (one 12 oz can of soda = 150 cal). Or eat a

salad before a meal so you don't fill up on all the other stuff. If

you want to lose weight and keep it off it is best to lose it slowly,

about 1-2 lbs/week. However, in the first two weeks you may drop 5-

10 lbs but it will eventually level off. The biggest thing, start

drinking lots of water. I have been doing this about 2 months, I

exercise and have changed my eating patterns and now I crave fruits

and veggies. Of course I eat sweets, steaks and other junk but when

I do I make sure that I take in tons of water and " good " food too. I

Well I started at 215 and am down to 205. My goal is 165 by this

summer. I know 10 lbs doesn't seem like much but I have lost 11.5

inches and have went from a size 18/20 to a 14/16 and from XL to

L...this is because I exercise. I know if I didn't exercise I

wouldn't have went down a size already.

Just want to add Welcome, and can you do 's instead of Mcs

when you feel the need to eat out for lunch? (I'm in agreement with

cheryl's advice to bring your lunch more often) Try a 's plain

baked potato with their chili poured over it for a good salad

alternative/accompaniment lunch.

Well; I think taking your lunch to work with lots of veggies and fruits. If you

are exercising, taking in your waters, and watching your portion sizes and

limiting the fat content I think you will be able to lose at least 1-2 pounds

per week. I hope this helps?
