Guest guest
My gf kids, ages 11-15, eat a wide variety of snacks: chips and salsa, fruit, popcorn, pudding cups, fruit cups, cheese sticks, PB & J sandwiches, cookies (homemade chocolate chips, store bought Midel animal cookies), cereal (dry or with milk), Stax if I buy them. Those are the ones I can think of right now. HTH, Jupiter, FL snacks I am tired of baking wonderful muffins and snack cakes and them declaring they do not like them. They are wonderful, better than regular ones. They are ones they have loved in the past. Anyway, I am tired of eating them all and my weight doesn't like it either. So, what do your kids eat for snacks that are GF and preferably DF? I do not want to buy baked goods but if they eat store bought baked goods, let me know which ones. We may try some then try to replicate them. Thanks. -- mom to Beth, 9 1/2, my angelface and , 6, my Boo (both dairy and gluten intolerant)If you can judge a wise man by the color of his skin, mister you're a better man than I - Aerosmith, Livin on the Edge. Guest guest
My son has been taking turkey-lunch meat- and he loves it. He also takes raisins, carrot sticks, an apple, some cashews and also took 3 gf/df pb cookies today. His teacher gives him airpopped popcorn that I provide for snack time. That is what he is taking this week anyway. His tastes change with the wind.....LOL. Guest guest
mentioned a lot of good ones that we do. We also like fruit and nut bars, nuts and we do a nut butter and Nutella " sandwhich " on Corn Thins. Doesn't work if you are nut free but we are GF, dairy free and egg free over here. I also modified the cinnamin toast muffin recipe in the files and added pumpkin and chocolate chips. They are yummy. or I will make Mock " Oatmeal " cookies, cobbler, shortbread, etc. Maybe they just need something new. Also have you tried TINGS? They are GF/CF (which means casein/dairy free). They are like a thin crunchy CHeeto, except I like their flavor much better. > > My gf kids, ages 11-15, eat a wide variety of snacks: chips and salsa, fruit, popcorn, pudding cups, fruit cups, cheese sticks, PB & J sandwiches, cookies (homemade chocolate chips, store bought Midel animal cookies), cereal (dry or with milk), Stax if I buy them. I know how much I hate my Mount Washing-ton. I'd not be able to sleep at night if I knew I were the cause for any one else's having to do additional, otherwise needless, laundry! btw, what'd I say this time? Guest guest
Ah, perhaps. But if you saw my Mount Washing-ton, you'd understand in a jiffy why I'd lose sleep at night to think that I caused any one else to have to wash even one extra piece of apparel.
