Guest guest
Hi, BTW, Clan has posted a warning about Cocoa Puffs now containing gluten. The new boxes show wheat on the label. http://www.clanthompson.com/res_news_alerts.php3 Joy
Guest guest
Read labels, call the company and follow your mommy gut. Everyone has a different opinion about things(i.e. McD's french fries), do what you feel comfortable with. I heard cocoa puffs were ok, I haven't bought any. I did buy cocoa pebbles and can't find anything wrong with their label but I should call on them too. So now I am totally confused. Being a newbie mom of a gf child,I bought alot of the Cocoa Puffs cereals which I meticulously looked at the label to make sure there was no wheat. There were many boxes that did contain wheat .I thought I was safe!!!! What do I do now????? Manda

Guest guest
Don't know anything except what was on the Clan site. I'm wondering if this is one of those cases where they just " found " out about a supplier OR if they just don't want to get into issues if someone decides to test their product for wheat under the new labeling laws? I just thought that I'd give people a heads up since there were several posts about breakfast cereal and snacks lately. Joy

Guest guest
Even Clan 's message said as long as it doesn't list wheat it is GF. Just always check labels. This is a good example of how ingredients are constantly changing. Ah, for the good old days, when I, like most most people in the world, was blissfully unaware of the fact that ingredients are constantly changing. This group, though, is PAINFULLY AWARE of that. Guest guest
I eat fruity pebbles a couple times a week. I did call about 7 months ago and was told fruity and coco pebbles were safe. > > > > Read labels, call the company and follow your mommy gut.
