Hello,

This is my first post since my decompression surgery on July 11th. My surgery

lasted a good five hours. The majority of my swelling is gone. I had my

stitches taken out on Monday morning and everything is looking good. The only

thing I am having a bit of trouble with is probably sinus related. I have

tenderness in my forehead, temples, and top of my head. I have also picked up a

whistle noise on and off in my left ear. My doctor didn’t seem too concerned

about it at this point.

I have been taking it pretty easy. I’ll do a load of clothes or a few dishes

now & then. This afternoon I am going to make a meat loaf and hubby will finish

up the meal when he gets home. He’s been great!

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Take care,

Lou

hi Lou,

glad things are going well with you. i had the same

thing after surgery. in fact i had a noise in my ear

that sounded like an ocean, i had a hemotobin (blood

behind the ear) i needed an antibiotic, if it

continues inquire about it. i could only lay on my

right side as well the pressure in my head was

uncomfortable when it shifted. you are moving around

much quicker than i did, congrats!!
