Guest guest
Hi all! I just stumbled onto this apraxia thing a couple of weeks ago and I've got a ton to learn! I have a 2 year old daughter who I believe has it. We are getting her offically tested next week and then will hopefully start some therapy. In the mean time, I ordered some vegetarian DHA supplements for her to take. (We are a family of vegetarians and prefer dha from algea rather than fish.) So far though, all I see is fish this and fish that.... I just wanted to make sure that what I bought is going to do the trick just as well. I'd like to continue with it because for one, it's vegetarian and that means a lot to me, and two... I spend $75 and have 3 bottles of it!!!!!! also, is there anything else I need to be giving her as far as supplements? And one more question... she had SEVERE eczema for her first year of life (while being breastfed) The only thing that would keep it under control was me taking evening primrose oil (and it transfering through breastmilk). Is her eczema and apraxia connected in anyway? Because it is my (limited) understanding that her eczema could have been caused by her not being able to convert certain.... ummm.... EFA's??? I think? (this is all greek to me and I'm trying to learn as I go!) I'm just trying to connect dots I guess, Thanks in advance! -
