Guest guest
Early Intervention! Take him to a Speech Pathologist or a developmental pediatrician for evaluation. He is young, but it does not hurt to get them started on Speech Therapy early on. Guest guest
hi we are kind new to all of this to. our 24 month old Silas says 6 words, ma for me and da for tristen, the problem is he calls everyone ma, and latley he has been calling me da. he says down, and eat, he says it very fast so it is hard to make out.he says sssssss for horse, and he says uck for duck and stuck. he is getting speech therapy and occupational therapy. i know he can say other things but he does not spontaneously say them, if some one hollars something he will hollar back the same thing but he will not say it on his own, it is VERY frustrating......just wanted to let you know we are in the same boat. Guest guest
YMMV but we saw no results during six months of early intervention services. We had much better results with private therapy. What is your son's diagnosis? If you have not had him evaluated, that is where I would start (except that I would begin EFAs, vit E and carnosine at least now). > Hi, my 26 month old DS only says " mamamamamamama " " dadaddadadada " and > just the other day said " oh nooooo " and " winnow " (for window) > His pediatrician suggested early intervention for him, I was just > wondering what to expect. and if anyone has any quick tips to help in > the meantime? > > Thank you so much in advance > > > > > > > img scr=*http://i2.photobucket.com > __________________________________________________ >
