Hi, Jan!

I know this prolly isn't what you want to hear, but I wouldn't worry too

much yet. It doesn't sound like your food's the problem (although I can't

know for sure without knowing exactly what you're eating). How much water

do you drink.

It's not uncommon for people who don't have much to lose to lose slowly.

While an average of 1lb/week is on the slower end (welcome to the life of

a turtle), you're still doing well. Have you taken your measurements?

Perhaps you've lost something there.

Some people just have a VERY slow start. But don't despair. We're here

for ya!

Hi Jan,

I agree you should not get frustrated yet. But I was wondering - why

only 1/3 a hamburger patty for lunch? Sounds like too little food... you

shouldn't be afraid to get in a nice protein serving. Can you specify

exact amounts of your food? Maybe you're not eating enough?

Just a thought.

Vered... I think she meant 1/3pound hamburger patty. At least I'm hoping so!

Hi,

I made a mistake on one thing... it is 1/3 lb of hamburger. I have

run my carb counts on fitday.com and am below 20. I have keto breath

big time. I am drinking at least 64 oz of water a day - most of it in

the afternoon and evening. I had a light beer last night and the

scale did not go up so that is a good thing.

Jan, keep in mind that 64oz is the absolute bare minimum... you need an additional 8oz for EACH 25lbs that you want to lose. I can't recall your weight loss goals but keep those extra 8oz glasses in mind :-)
