Awesome finding! Thanks Cheryl! I don't know how many times I heard from docs that antidepressants would help with my pain, or blamed the pain on depression. My "favorite" explaination was from a doc who said that fibromyalgia is a woman's illness caused because women "internalize" their emotional distress. Since the doc believed the illness was caused by mental problems treating the mental problems should treat the illness, right? This was a woman doc! I'm so glad that someone was smart enough to do a study and brave enough to publish the results, even though they fly in the face of conventional wisdom. Thanks for sharing! DebCheryl wrote:
