I was trying to get back to you about that.. I didn't see it in the ingredients either but underneath where they have to list the allergens now by law.. it said Contains milk, egg and fish. So, good, I'm not nuts.. Esther saw it too! lol

But, by looking at the ingredients list, I don't really seewhere the eggs or fish are hiding.Interesting.

I'm googling for " ACT Popcorn ingredients " and can't find any mention

of fish ingredients online.

Some of them have annato coloring (derived from a plant) and that

has given me a rash at times.

Which flavor/style/form factor of the popcorn is it?

Well, smack me with a bag of popping corn. I see what you

mean. It lists " fish " in the allergens.

But, by looking at the ingredients list, I don't really see

where the eggs or fish are hiding.

Interesting.

Fish in popcorn? Ewww. But you know there are sardines in Worsterchire sauce too. Maybe there is some seasoning of some sort that has a small amount of something, and because fish is one of the big food allergy problems it has to be listed. Still, yuck! Sonja

I believe it's anchovies in the Worchestershire sauce...I've never

eaten anchovies and I don't think I ever will, but I still love Lea &

Perrins!

,Which popcorn is that? I have an allergy to fish/seafood and I haven't seen that before. I don't want to make a mistake! And by the way, welcome to the group of "WHY THE HECK IS THAT IN MY FOOD!"  :))  It wasn't until these diet changes that I paid so much attention to the labels. It truly is amazing at what they put in.   Besides the gluten, I have to avoid fish, seafood, soy (even lecithin) and yeast. It really can suck sometimes. Especially when you know the ingredients are in there mostly to increase the amount of time it can sit on a shelf! Cheryl in MNrxp_us@...

I bought a huge pack of ACT popcorn at Sam's the other day so this thread made me nervous! I finally got the courage to check out my box and the only allergen listed was milk :) Whew! By the way, it was the ACT popcorn with butter (mini bags packaged for Halloween).

I would blame the ever infamous "natural flavorings" for where the fish is hiding..... Luckily, I am at least off the hook - can't use that brand because they use soybean oil. Which oddly enough, I don't see soy listed as an allergen..... Cheryl in MNrxp_us@...

Oops! i mis-spoke! This one actually lists Palm oil, not soy oil. i was sure I wasn't using this because of the oil..... oops. Anyways, it will be out because of the fish. Crap. Cheryl in MNrxp_us@...
