Had your daughter's height increased proportionately along with her

weight? I imagine not, otherwise her cals would have been left alone,

especially if she was seizure free? This can be very tricky, as the way

childrens' height gain usually works is that they put weight on first, then

they grow into it, put weight on, grow into it, and so on.. So even if

height hadn't shown as increasing along with weight at the point the cals

were reduced, sometimes there is a period in between where both percentiles

don't increase at the same time.

Depends what the trend since March has been though, and what was happening

ketone wise. If she was on too many cals, an indication would usually be

keotnes being too low at certain times of the day. Was this the case?

A breakthrough seizure 3 days after lowering cals would straight away say

to me put everything back to where it was.

I would try and stick to as regimental calorie intake and ratio as

possible, and as far as upping the ratio goes, again, depends what her

ketones are doing. If they are already high enough all the time, upping the

ratio may not be needed.

Def sounds like cals were the problem to bring the seizures back, and as

seizures can then beget 'more seizures' it might have started a cycle back

off again.
