Guest guest
Rhonda, have you been to California? I love the fact that there is no snow where I live. I am originally from Michigan, however, been here in California for 15 years and I must confess I have gotten spoiled. CHRISTINE WETZEL Re: Getting snowed in! Guest guest
Rhonda, Yeah, it was best that I stayed home. Mike said the roads were awful! It actually stopped snowing right when it was time for me to go but started again like 2 hours later and kept doing that for like 4-5 days. Got almost 4 feet of snow in those times! I know what you mean about driving in it. It scares me too but I am used to it having grown up in Minnesota and been here for almost 15 years. Besides with my new Jeep, it's not so bad. It handles really well! Now we have been cold. As much as 25 below zero while Niki and Arturo were here. He had a blast with it though. Was chopping firewood and being a little pyro in the wood stove. It was funny! We ran out of firewood he burned so much! It was 15-20 below outside but 76 in the house! LOL Now the last few days it's been hovering right around zero. Brrrr! I'm on the go today. Have to go to the laundromat and groc store. I hope you had a happy new year! Sad to say, I gained about 6 lbs while they were here. Time to get back to biz now! Hugs, Gena > We have been getting snow for 2 days now.
